Profile
The palate entry is wonderfully crisp and refreshing, immediately awakened by a wave of zesty acidity and pure fruit flavors. Vibrant citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon/lime dominate the forefront, creating a mouthwatering sensation. Green apple and perhaps a touch of subtle white peach follow, adding a delicate sweetness and roundness to the mid-palate. The clean, mineral notes from the nose carry through the taste, adding depth and enhancing the overall freshness. The fruit is bright and clean, unhindered by assertive oak, allowing the varietal character and regional blend to shine.
Visual: Pale to medium lemon-green hue, shimmering with youthful brilliance and clarity. The color is bright and luminous, suggesting a vibrant and fresh wine. Exhibits excellent clarity and appears crystalline, with light viscosity and quick-falling tears, indicative of a light to medium-bodied wine.
Nose: The nose is immediately vibrant, fresh, and expressively aromatic, showcasing a harmonious blend of characteristics from both Sonoma and Napa fruit. Primary aromas of bright citrus fruit leap from the glass, led by zesty grapefruit, fresh lime, and green apple. Subtle green notes of fresh gooseberry are intertwined with hints of white peach and perhaps a whisper of tropical passionfruit, representing the diverse regional contributions. There's a clean, mineral undertone, reminiscent of wet stone, adding complexity without overt oak influence. The aroma is pure, lifted, and invigorating, promising a lively palate experience.
