Introducing
Typicite
Typicité Wines was founded by friends Craig Ploof and Collin Cranor with a vision to craft classic, site-driven Pinot Noir from California’s premier coastal vineyards. What began as a small passion project—fueled by two interest-free credit cards—quickly evolved into a renowned portfolio of wines sourced from iconic growers across the state.
In 2023, their dedication to regional expression led to the release of a Santa Lucia Highlands AVA-designated Pinot Noir, showcasing their deep appreciation for the area and their long-standing history of working with its exceptional vineyards.
In 2025, Typicité Wines joined forces with Nottingham Cellars and Grape Culture to form Syndicate Wines, expanding their reach while continuing to honor the distinctive terroir and heritage behind each bottle. Through thoughtful winemaking and a relentless pursuit of quality, Typicité Wines remains a celebration of California’s rich Pinot Noir landscape.
